This is The Limelight Spotlight, a place to find the latest information about up-and-coming artists’ projects, shows and progression. Signed or not, we’re here for you. The summer is heating up, y’all. It’s been a while; I’ve been building the foundation for The Limelight Empire. Along the way I have met many incredible music makers, performers and producers–many of whom are the trifecta. I have so many favorites, it would take me all day to go through the list, but I can give you updates on some of the artists that have been busy planning their next moves that will change the game; people like: Bryson Green and  GoldShadesMusic. 

Bryson Green

I am extremely proud of each of these artists'; their tenacity is leading them towards the top of their respective genre’s. #Keepgoing. Bryson is an artist with a message; his content takes you much deeper than main streamers are willing to tread. Most, like Hov, are dumbing down to their audience to double their dollars. Artists like Mr. Green are uncompromising to the zeitgeist, he’s more of a trend-setter blazing his own path.

This summer is has been quite productive for Green. His recent releases (Go-On, 23rd, and Mr. Cool) have gotten nationwide attention, so it’s not a question of if, it’s a matter of when Green will go to the top of the charts. Bryson and Larry Alexander (video director pro) have such an incredible chemistry, I am always impressed with the combination of lyrics and visuals that they produce.

The GO-ON video is fire, it really adds another dimension to the controversial lyrics and slick word play. Every time I watch it, I get even more out of it.

GoldShadesMusic

My favorite R&B group, GoldShades, has been building their music and performance catalog. Not only are they opening up for well-known R&B performers, they are now building a strong following and creating shows of their own. Students of the Legendary Morehouse College, in Atlanta, Georgia, Gary, Marlon, and Julian are transcending showmanship and offering an elevated entertainment experience. Incredible arrangements (adding the Gold Standard to your favorite covers), hot originals and some of the best well-choreographed intimate performances that you find anywhere; they ensure that each show provides their fans with a special level of engagement.
